How to Get the Club Key in Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 2 features plenty of doors you’ll need to unlock to progress throughout the game. Finding their keys isn’t always so easy. Here is everything you need to know about how to get the Club Key is Resident Evil 2.
The Club Key is a large silver key, named as such because of its handle forms the shape of a club colored in green. This item is one of four card-suit-themed keys you’ll be required to pick up to progress throughout Resident Evil 2.
Find Ben
To get the Club Key, you need to find Ben in one of the cells of the Police Department. After speaking with him, he will tell you to head through the kennel to access the sewers.
Grab the manhole opener (crowbar) to the right and head toward the kennel. You’ll find the manhole cover if you go straight once inside.
Once you make your way through the sewer, you’ll come upon a locked door near the Septic Pool. Boost Ada through the vent and you’ll take control of her.
A young girl named Sherry will run away from Ada when she gets through. Follow her and you’ll enter the main Cesspool area.
Cesspool Tank
Kill the zombies in the area, head to the left, and go through the door to the Cesspool Tank. Once inside, drop down until you find a box.
Push the box forward and you’ll find two more. Line up all the boxes in a row to form a straight line.
Head back to where you just entered and press the control panel with the green button. This will activate a level that fills and drains water in the room.
The room will fill with water, allowing the boxes to rise to the surface. Walk across and grab the Club Key located on the shelf in the Cesspool Tank.

- Watchman’s Room
- Press Room
