Smash Bros Ultimate: How Much it Costs

How Much Does Super Smash Bros Ultimate Costs? Everything You Need to Know

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is literally the ultimate package for any fan of the fighting series. With dozens of characters, new stages, items, an exciting story and spirits mode, Smash Bros Ultimate is the game to beat this holiday season, and even with all of this content jam-packed into one little Switch cartridge, Nintendo has managed to keep the game at the normal price point for other AAA Switch titles. Here’s what you need to know about how much Smash Bros Ultimate costs.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate costs $59.99 both physically and digitally on the Switch eShop. Although, if you’re a hardcore Smash fan then you might want to spend the extra cash and opt in for the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Special Edition that goes for $139.99.

The special edition comes with a copy of the game itself, as well as these additional items:

  • Nintendo Pro Controller Super Smash Bros Ultimate Edition
  • Steelbook Case

The Fighters Pass will also be an option for diehard fans, which can be purchased alongside the main game for a total of $84.98. The Fighters Pass will give you access to all five characters, stages, and music tracks planned to release for the game post-launch, all the way into February of 2020. Unfortunately, the exact contents and release dates of the Fighters Pass DLC has yet to be confirmed by Nintendo.
