Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey Gets a New Story Trailer

Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey has just received a brand new story trailer ahead of the game’s release.

The video includes an introduction to the game’s story and footage of some of its unique mechanics. Fans are also treated to a look at the brand new Bowser Jr.’s Journey being added to this remake of the original DS game.

Starting off the trailer, viewers learn that there is a disease infecting the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. A sick Toad can be seen smashing through a wall due to the illness causing him to inflate to an enormous size.

Bowser also seems to have an ailment of his own as he is seen sucking up Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Starlow. These characters are trapped inside the King of the Koopas and must find a way out.

Following this, the trailer shows off the combat of Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey. I

n particular, the video highlights that players will control Mario, Luigi, and Bowser in combat. Also shown is that some fights revolve around Mario and Luigi fighting other creatures inhaled by Bowser.

Additionally, there is a quick look at one of the most famous mechanics from the original game, turning the 3DS sideways for the game’s larger battles.

Finally, there are a few clips from the new Bowser Jr.’s Journey. Bowser Jr. can be seen rallying together the Koopalings and battling enemies with them.
