Here’s Where to Find Expedition Outposts in Fortnite
A number of the Fortnite Season 7 challenges task players with tracking down the expedition outposts in the game, such as “Eliminate opponents at all Expedition Outposts.” Here’s where the expedition outposts are in Fortnite Season 7.
Before looking for one, it’s important that you know what exactly it is you’re looking for. An expedition outpost is a somewhat large, red, campsite-like structure.
It’s quite odd at first glance. Not quite a building and not quite decoration. Regardless, it’s a red bulbous structure with a white diamond logo on it, with antennas and a satellite on top.
Within each outpost, there is a treasure chest inside. Because of that, and the fact that there are likely at least a few dozen other people trying to get this challenge completed in your match at any given moment, don’t expect your trip to one of these to be easy going.
You will likely run into at least one person — probably more — and without a gun, death will find you quickly.
So, either drop the fastest to one to get a gun (hopefully) from the chest there, or drop somewhere nearby where you can get your hands on a weapon.
With a weapon in hand, eliminate an enemy at one of these expedition outposts. Now you know what you’re looking out for and what you need to do.
Here’s where those expedition outposts are in Fortnite Battle Royale on a map. We’ve also broken down each individual location in more detail below, should you need it.
Expedition Outpost 1
To find this outpost, head to Tomato Temple. Once there, go northwest until you see the red outpost located in F3 on the map.
Expedition Outpost 2
Drop near Pleasant Park. Head northeast until you get to the hill. Sitting on top of this hill is the outpost you’re looking for. It’s located in section D3 of the map.
Expedition Outpost 3
Drop near Polar Peak and head southeast. Almost directly in between Shifty Shafts and Happy Hamlet is what you’re looking for. It’s located in section D8 of the map.
Expedition Outpost 4
To find this one, head West of Paradise Palms until you reach the part of the map where the grass and desert meet. Located directly in between Paradise Palms and Fatal Fields — section H8 on the map — is the outpost you need to find.
Expedition Outpost 5
On top of a small hill west of Lonely Lodge, located in section I5 on the map, is the red structure you’re looking for.
Expedition Outpost 6
North of the football field, which is southwest of Pleasant Park, located partly in section C4 and partly in section B4, is the sixth outpost you need to eliminate someone at.
Expedition Outpost 7
The seventh and final outpost is located West of Dusty Divot on top of the somewhat large mountain-like hill. Located on the line of sections F5 and F6 on the map is the last outpost you need to eliminate someone at.
