Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are the first games in the Pokemon series to make it to the Nintendo Switch, and they look absolutely stunning. These are full-on remakes of the original games on the Game Boy, and should serve as a nice entry point for newcomers, as well as a nostalgia trip for longtime fans. If you’re a Pokemon GO player, you can also reap some in-game benefits here. Here’s what you need to know about how to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon Let’s Go.

Right from the start of the game, once you have control over your character, you can connect your Switch game to your GO account. Press the X button to bring up the menu, then press Y to go to the Settings menu. Make sure you have your phone on hand as well.

In Let’s Go’s Settings menu, choose the option to connect your GO account. Then, on your phone with the app open, tap the Poke Ball symbol and the Settings button in the top right corner of your screen. Scroll down to the connectivity options, then tap on the Nintendo Switch option to start connecting both devices. Make sure you have Bluetooth enabled on your phone as well, or the connection won’t work.

It shouldn’t take more than a few seconds for you to register your GO account in Let’s Go. Once it’s done, you’ll be able to confirm registration on your Switch. The game will then let you know that you’ll be able to start transferring your GO creatures to Let’s Go, but only from the GO Park located in Fuchsia City.

This means that you still need to play through the story and reach Fuchsia City before you can transfer your caught Pokemon.

And that’s all you need to know about how to transfer your creatures from GO to Pokemon Let’s Go. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. Feel free to sound off in the comments below if you have any questions about the game as well, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
