How to Start the Sean Bean Elusive Target Mission in Hitman 2
While there’s a lot of content in Hitman 2 from the get to, with the game leaving the episodic structure of its predecessor behind, there’s plenty of exciting stuff being added to the game in the coming weeks. One of those things is the return of Elusive Target Missions. Here’s everything you need to know about how to start the Sean Bean Elusive Target Mission in Hitman 2.
As the official Hitman 2 website describes them, Elusive Target Missions are “unique, high-stakes contracts that are only available for a limited time. These missions are free for all players, allowing one chance to assassinate the target and if not successfully completed, the contract cannot be retried.”
The missions add a particular target into one of the game’s existing maps and you need to take them down to get rewards such as special assassination items.
Sean Bean, the guy everyone loves to kill in every TV show and film he’s ever been in will be added into the Miami map for you to hunt down.
However, as of the game’s launch, the Sean Bean Elusive Target Mission is not live. It is the first element of IO’s plan for frequent content updates for Hitman 2 over the coming months.
It is due to go live on Nov. 20 and it will be live for 14 days. The exact details of the Sean Bean Elusive Target Mission aren’t clear yet, but you can check out the cool reveal trailer for a little more information and we’ll be sure to update you here once it is live.
In terms of how to start the Sean Bean Elusive Target Mission, you will see on the Hitman 2 main menu screen an Elusive Target tab. When you click on it now, a message appears saying that you’re trying to enter a mode that’s not live yet, but that’ll be the way you access it once it’s live. There’s also a countdown of sorts on that main menu tab that tells you how many days it is until the mission is live.
