Fallout 76: How to Get Event Rewards & What You Get

How to Get Event Rewards & What You Get in Fallout 76

Events are one of the new features introduced in Fallout 76 as the series ventures into the realm of shared world, multiplayer action for the first time. As players explore the wasteland of West Virginia, they may receive a notification indicating them that an event has started. If you choose to complete these various different activities scattered across the map, you’ll get event rewards. Here’s how to get event rewards and what you get from completing them.

The best part about completing events is that once you get the ‘Event Complete’ message appear onscreen, Fallout 76 will automatically add all of the event rewards you’ve just earned immediately into your inventory. As such there’s not a whole lot you really need to do if you want to get your hands on them.

Once the message appears onscreen detailing your event rewards, simply access your Pip-Boy by pressing Circle on PS4 or B on Xbox One, and head over to the Items tab. Your items will be under their corresponding categories; for example, any Stimpaks you earn will be found under Aid.

As for what rewards you actually get from events, well, it varies. From our time in Fallout 76, event rewards seem to be pretty random and can vary from things like purified water, Stimpaks, and RadAway, all the way through to bobby pins, ammo, weapons, and armor.

It really does seem like a bit of RNG from what we’ve played, which would kind of make sense considering all events in Fallout 76 are replayable over and over again.

Outside of that, there’s not a whole lot more you need to know to get event rewards and what kind of things you can expect to get from them in Fallout 76. Simply put, if you’re ever hankering for some additional consumables or weapons that aren’t all busted up, give the events a try.

Though, we’d highly recommend bringing a friend or two to speed things along and make things that little bit easier.
