Easiest Xbox One Achievements of September 2018
Life Is Strange 2: Episode 1
Life Is Strange 2 may not follow the dynamic duo of Max and Chloe anymore, but that doesn’t mean the story’s any less heartfelt or compelling. In fact, in its opening episode, Life Is Strange 2 made us care deeply about the Diaz brothers, Sean and Daniel.
The supernatural theme from the original series is back here once again, too, albeit with a fresh twist. However, it doesn’t quite fully come into its own as a gameplay mechanic in the opening episode. Instead, this opening episode focuses on introducing you to the two new main characters.
As is usually the case with episodic titles, Life Is Strange 2’s first episode is great for some easy Xbox One achievements. Its first episode has nine achievements, totaling 190 Gamerscore. In order to get all 190, you simply need to finish the episode, start any drawing (which can be done in the opening 20 minutes by sitting on the beanbag in Sean’s room, and grab some collectibles on the way. Considering we’ve got a handy guide to take you straight to all of the Life Is Strange 2 Episode 1 collectibles locations, this is a nice and easy 190 Gamerscore.
Jack ‘n’ Jill DX
Jack n’ Jill DX might not look like a current generation game, opting for a basic, monochrome visual style. That doesn’t make it any less of a game, though. And what’s more, it’s got some of the easiest Xbox One achievements you can hope to come across in September 2018. This is a one-button retro platformer that’ll see you navigating obstacles and enemies in order to reunite Jack and Jill. How cute! Really, though, it’s the easy achievements we care about here.
The game has 11 achievements totaling 1000 Gamerscore. The entirety of the achievements list can be ticked off in the space of 30 minutes. Heck, 270 Gamerscore is unlockable in the first level if you know what you’re doing. Xbox Achievements have broken down just how simple it is in a tiny abbreviated walkthrough. Follow that, and there’s no reason you can’t be 1000 Gamerscore better off in less than an hour. This is without a doubt the best game for the easiest Xbox One achievements of September 2018.

Transference
Back when I first played Transference in VR over a year ago, it quickly became one of my most anticipated VR titles. Described as a psychological thriller, players are placed into a simulation that is built on the ‘brain data’ of scientist Raymond Hayes. You’re there to dive into his brain data and uncover exactly what happened to him and his close family. And while Transference is certainly at its best in VR, it’s also some good, creepy fun playing on Xbox One on your TV, too.
Transference’s 1000 Gamerscore is broken down into 14 separate achievements. However, if its atmospheric narrative keeps you hooked until the very end, you’ll get 805 Gamerscore. 11 of its achievements are unmissable, with three requiring you to grab some collectibles. Two of which require you to find all video logs and audio logs respectively. With the help of a guide, you’ll be able to clear these up fairly quickly.
Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season – Episode 2
Most likely the last time Telltale Games will feature on this list. Following the news that the developer is shutting its doors, The Walking Dead: The Final Season’s second episode release a few days later. The episode focused on the aftermath of the closing events of the premiere, and really ramped things up by the time the credits rolled. Sadly, it doesn’t look like we’ll ever get the conclusion to Clementine and AJ’s story, with the Final Season being pulled from digital storefronts.
Though we may not ever find out the end, we can get some easy achievements. Its second episode comes with 13 achievements to make your way through. The 250 Gamerscore is earned by completing the episode, finding all collectibles, and interacting with certain objects at specific times.
None of these collectibles are exactly hard to spot. One is literally given to you, and the other three can all be found in or around the greenhouse.
The other achievements have annoyingly vague descriptions. However, they require you to do things such as petting Rosie the dog during Act 3, eating the mushroom in the greenhouse, or checking in with everyone during Act 3. The community over at Xbox Achievements has done a great job at detailing what needs to be done for each of these achievements. Be sure to check out their page in case you’ve got a few left over come the end of the episode.
And that wraps up our list of the easiest Xbox One achievements of September 2018. Got any suggestions for the October list? Let us know down in the comments below and we’ll be sure to take them into consideration.
