Can You Turn Off Camp Music in Red Dead Redemption 2? What You Need to Know

Recommended Videos

Your gang’s camp will move about a fair bit in Red Dead Redemption 2 as you make your way across the wild west. You’re wanted by the law, after all, so it wouldn’t make sense to stay in one place. That doesn’t make it any less of an important place on your adventure, though. You’ll need to check in frequently to catch up with fellow gang members, go on quests with them, and bring supplies to keep everyone happy. You can rest, shave your beard, change clothes, and even grab a free meal every once in a while, too. Problem is, there’s some atmospheric camp music reminiscent of the time period… that’s also kind of annoying if you’re spending a long time there. Here’s whether or not you can turn off camp music in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Sadly, as you may have guessed, you cannot turn off camp music in Red Dead Redemption 2. You’ll constantly have to listen to the opera-singing woman, regardless of whether you really want to or not. Sure, you can try and keep your distance from the source of the noise, but you’re going to end up going near it sooner or later. Our only suggestion here is to get your TV muted if you have to spend too long in the camp, or just grin and bear it, unfortunately.

Although this post had to bring you bad news regarding whether you can turn off camp music, we’ve got plenty of other handy Red Dead Redemption 2 guides to help inform your adventure across the wild west. Whether you’re looking for a complete Camp guide, Hunting guide, Fishing guide, or just want to know how to fast travel, we’ve got all of that and plenty more.

If we haven’t listed what else you’re looking for above, be sure to check out our complete Red Dead Redemption 2 guide wiki. We’re constantly updating it with handy gameplay feature breakdowns, collectible locations, and more.
