It’s finally happened Fortnite fans. Epic Games has decided it’s time that the Skull Trooper skin returned, and with it comes Skull Trooper challenges. Completing all of the Skull Trooper challenges will get you the Ghost Portal back bling. It looks pretty awesome, with a blue portal glowing out of your back. Here’s what you need to know for how to complete all Skull Trooper challenges in Fortnite, and how you can get that Ghost Portal back bling, too.

How to Get the Skull Trooper Challenges in Fortnite

Before you can start working towards earning yourself the Ghost Portal back bling in Fortnite, you’ll first need to get the Skull Trooper challenges themselves. To do this, you simply need to head to the Item Shop, and purchase the Skull Trooper skin.

The skin currently costs 1500 V-Bucks, which equates to about $15.

If you already have the Skull Trooper skin, you should find that the Skull Trooper challenges are now waiting for you within the Challenges tab in Fortnite.

Now that you’ve got the challenges, you’ll need to complete them all. We’ve listed all Skull Trooper challenges below, and then provided a few additional tips underneath on how to complete each one.

  • Complete 7 Daily Challenges
  • Play Matches (50)
  • Play Matches with at Least One Elimination (14)
  • Search 10 Chests in a Single Match
  • Deal Damage to Opponents in a Single Match (1000)

A lot of these you’ll just naturally complete as you play the game, such as completing daily challenges or playing 50 matches. The trickier challenges come in the form of ‘Search 10 Chests in a Single Match’ and ‘Deal Damage to Opponents in a Single Match.’

Both of these Skull Trooper challenges will likely require you to survive for quite some time. To search 10 chests in a single match, you’ll want to head to quiet spots on the map, such as Junk Junction, Haunted Hills, or possibly even Lucky Landing. Even if these spots don’t have all 10 you need to complete the challenge, it should give you a good few to set you up with some decent weapons before you go off hunting for more out in the open.

Dealing 1000 damage to opponents in a single match is the equivalent of eliminating five players with full health and shield. That’s actually a little harder than we usually see in the Fortnite weekly challenges, but if you use the Soaring 50’s mode, you can easily rack up damage dealt to opponents by shooting any that have been downed. If you’re on a strong, winning team in Soaring 50’s, completing this challenge shouldn’t be too difficult.

Upon completing all five Skull Trooper challenges in Fortnite, you’ll unlock the Ghost Portal back bling. Now all you need to do is head to the Locker tab, select the Back Bling option on the top row, and pick out your spooky new accessory.

That’s all you need to know to complete the Skull Trooper challenges in Fortnite and to get the Ghost Portal back bling. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game’s current season, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 6 wiki.
