FIFA 19 League SBCs: Everything You Need to Know (Player Picks, Solutions, & More)

Everything You Need to Know About FIFA 19 League SBCs (Player Picks, Solutions, & More)

Recommended Videos

FIFA 19 has only been out for a few days but EA Sports has already dropped the first couple of League SBCs (Squad Building Challenges). League SBCs have been a part of FIFA for a couple of years, but they have returned earlier than usual for FIFA 19 and they’re a little different to what we’re used to. Here’s everything you need to know about the new FIFA 19 League SBCs, including the Player Picks you get.

What Teams Are in the FIFA 19 League SBCs

The first two teams that have been given FIFA 19 League SBCs are the EFL Championship and the Superliga Argentina de Futbol (Argentinian League) and you can complete them at any point during the game’s life cycle. However, since the SBCs need 24 and 26 squads for the sets, respectively, it’ll take quite a while and a lot of coins to complete. Since the players will be quite expensive now, if you’re not desperate for the players, it’s best to wait a few months.

However, if you want them now, do them as quickly as possible as seller’s try to take advantage of the hype and there’s more players on the transfer market.

Since silver players are harder to come across this year, they might be more expensive than previous years too. We will be sure to update this piece as and when new FIFA 19 League SBCs are released.

Solutions to the FIFA 19 League SBCs

Thankfully, the solutions for each of the squads are pretty simple. All you need is 11 players from each of the clubs in the league, in their right position. Some of the squads will have bricks slots, so you’ll need fewer players, but you’ll need to meet chemistry requirements and rating requirements in each of them.

To check what you need, simply select the SBC, then the squad, and you’ll see them on the right hand side.

What You Need to Know About Player Picks & Rewards in FIFA 19 League SBCs

The rewards are the biggest change to FIFA 19 League SBCs. Rather than a set player, you’re granted a player pick pack (like the Champions League ones) for completing the league’s set. However, it’s not as good as it sounds.

You don’t get a random selection of special cards, but rather two to choose from. You can check the rewards for the Player Picks by pressing Options/Menu with the SBC highlighted.

The Player Picks for the EFL Championship are.

  • Fernando Forestieri – Sheffield Wednesday – ST – 83 OVR
  • Curtis Davies – Derby County – CB – 84 OVR

The Player Picks for the Superliga Argentina de Futbol are.

  • Mauro Zarate – Boca Juniors – ST – 84 OVR
  • Cristian Pavón – Boca Juniors – RW – 85 OVR

You also get pack rewards for each of the individual squad SBCs you complete in the FIFA 19 League SBCs. The whole sets are also repeatable, so you don’t have to choose which player you want and sacrifice the other. If you want, you can do them twice to get both Player Picks.

That’s all there is to know about the FIFA 19 League SBCs. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our FIFA 19 wiki guide.
