How to Get Champions League Players in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team

Each and every year, EA Sports introduces loads of new special cards for players in FIFA Ultimate Team and this year they’re starting early with FIFA 19 Champions League Players. Since they’ve obtained the license for the world’s premier club competition, the Champions League, the blue and white theme, and the iconic music, can be seen throughout the game’s modes.

What Champions League Player Cards Are

Now, it’s come to Ultimate Team in the form of new card types. FIFA 19 Champions League players are slightly upgraded versions of every player who plays for a team that’s taking part in the group stages. Now, you’ll probably want to know how to add them to your team. Well, here’s everything you need to know about how to get FIFA 19 Champions League players in Ultimate Team.

How to Get Champions League Players Cards Are in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team

The first way you’ll get one of the FIFA 19 Champions League players is if you pre-ordered the Champions or Ultimate Editions. When you first start up the game, you will be able to redeem a Champions League Player Pick Pack. This lets you choose between five 80-83 rated players.

Then, you should be able to get the FIFA 19 Champions League players from packs sometime soon. Since all the players are currently in concepts, they’ll inevitably arrive in the game soon. Since the base version of the game releases on Friday, Sept. 28, you’ll likely see them arrive at 1pm ET on that day. That’s also when they tend to release Promos. However, since, Ones to Watch cards also launch that day, the FIFA 19 Champions League players may release sooner or slightly later. Either way, we’ll be sure to update you here once they’re released into packs.

Update: As of Oct. 2, you have more access to FIFA 19 Champions League players. You can complete the CL Marquee Matchups SBC (before 1pm ET on Oct. 4) to get a pack containing three tradable Champions League players, or you can complete the repeatable CL upgrade SBC. You need 11 players, all gold, with six rares to complete it. The two players you get from the upgrade SBC will be untradeable.

Since the Marquee Matchups players are tradeable, you can therefore buy them off the transfer market. They might be expensive and tough to find, however.
