Until Dawn Devs Delve Deeper into Horror with Dark Pictures Anthology

Until Dawn developers Supermassive Games are releasing a new set of horror stories called the Dark Pictures Anthology. The games will be heading to PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with Supermassive Games working together with Bandai Namco to publish these games.

The Dark Pictures Anthology will comprise of different games, each with their own set of stories, cast, and locations. The first game in the Dark Pictures Anthology is called Man of Medan and features a group of young friends on a trip to the South Pacific. Here’s what Supermassive Game’s Pete Samuels has to say about the first game in the Dark Pictures Anthology, via Eurogamer:

“The story of Man of Medan starts off on a dive boat in the South Pacific. With a rumored WWII wreck to find, and plenty of on-deck partying to be had, our group of four young Americans and their skipper Fliss get ready for what should be the trip of a lifetime… but it doesn’t go quite to plan. As the day unfolds, and a storm rolls in, they find themselves trapped on board a ghost ship. Subjected to unimaginable stress and terror, they must try to find a way to escape the ship and its sinister history.”

Players will be making their own choices throughout the game that will influence who will and won’t survive. The first entry in the Dark Pictures Anthology is slated to release in 2019, and you can check out the first trailer below:
