How to Save Your Game in Vampyr

Recommended Videos

Vampyr is the latest action adventure game from Dontnod and Focus Home. You’ll be playing a newly converted vampire that’s trying to get some answers as to why he’s been bitten and transformed. He struggles with morality and the choices will be up to you. Naturally, with this being a choice-driven game and there being quite a bit of difficulty to it, you’re wondering how to save. Well, here’s how to save your game!

Thanks to the modern marvel that is auto-saving, you won’t have to worry about this at all. Your game will auto-save after certain game changing things. These can be locating a new area, defeating an important enemy, leveling up, finding out a clue, and more. Whenever you see the bloodstained Y in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, you’ll know you’re good.

You can of course force this to happen by doing something of merit for your save file, and there’s plenty of checkpoints. Just – as is the case with all modern video games – don’t turn off your console while the Y is showing on the screen.

That’s really all there is to saving in Vampyr! If you need more help with the game, let us know down below and we’ll help you out if we can! Alternatively, check out our wiki for more tips, tricks, and guides.
