How to Restart a Race in The Crew 2
The Crew 2 can be about driving, flying, and sailing leisurely throughout America, or you can get down to some white-knuckled races for excitement and prizes. Sometimes, a race may not go the exact way you planned it to be and you’ll want to restart it rather than play the rest of a losing effort. The game allows you to restart any race at any time.
To restart a race, simply press the Triangle or Y button, depending on the console, to bring up a mini-menu while racing. The mini-menu has two options: retry and abort. Hold the X or A button to confirm the retry option, or press down on the d-pad and use the same buttons to quit out of the race with the abort option. Retrying a race will place you back at the starting line with the other racers or reset the timer for time attack races, while aborting the race sends you back into the map with no restricting time limits or lap checkpoints.
