How to Start Far Cry 3 Classic Edition

Far Cry 5 may be a distant memory for many with the likes of God of War, Detroit: Become Human, and State of Decay 2 having released since Ubisoft’s game launched, but it’s time to jump back in for some of the content that came with the Season Pass. One of the main draws of the Season Pass was the inclusion of Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, which is a remastered version of arguably the most popular Far Cry game. Far Cry 3 Classic Edition has now released, so you may be wondering how you go about getting it.

The game works as an entirely new application. If you’ve already redeemed your Season Pass code (if you bought it physically), you can head to your platform’s store and either search for it or head to the New Releases section. Once you’ve found the game, it should be categorized as ‘free,’ meaning you can download it without paying anything extra. Select ‘download’ and you should see it appear on your dashboard. You don’t even need to have the Far Cry 5 disc in to start the game. Simply wait for it to download, then go see Vaas again.

That’s all you need to know about how to start Far Cry 3 Classic Edition. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
