Locke Cole Is Ready to Steal Hearts in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT

Square Enix has announced the next DLC character for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, with the suave thief Locke Cole from Final Fantasy VI joining the fray. He joins Kefka Palazoo and Terra Branford as the representative from Final Fantasy VI.

Locke’s design is actually based off of the original Yoshitaka Amano concept art of the character, although he does come with an alternate costume that falls more in line with his in-game look from Final Fantasy VI. Locke is an Assassin type character, and relies on quick close-range attacks in battle. He uses stealth to surprise and steal from enemies, and he can even use Mug on unaware enemies, getting valuable spoils that he can use for special attacks. You can see him in action in the trailer down below.

There’s currently no release date for when Locke will be added to Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, but we’ll make sure to update this article whenever one gets announced. The previous DLC character, Vayne Solidor from Final Fantasy XII, is now available in the game. There are still four DLC characters to come, and here are the hints at who they are.

  • New Female character (from newer half of numbered Final Fantasy titles)
  • New Male character (from newer half of numbered Final Fantasy titles)
  • Returning Dissidia Female Character (from newer half of numbered Final Fantasy titles)
  • New Male character (from newer half of numbered Final Fantasy titles)
