After weeks of hinting and teasing, Battlefield V was officially revealed today alongside a trailer that shows off the upcoming game from EA Dice. As expected by many, the game will take place during World War II, and it will release this fall on October 19. See the trailer for yourself below:
It’s not entirely clear whether we were looking at single-player or multiplayer footage. It starts off looking like a mission or a cinematic, but then about half way through, it cuts to a familiar multiplayer screen with scores up at the top of the screen. In either scenario the game looks fantastic. An Xbox One logo cuts in at the end claiming “games play best on Xbox One.” Whether that’s just a plug for the Xbox One X, or something more, is unknown as of right now.
