All Microtransactions & How Much They Cost in Far Cry 5

Recommended Videos

As has been the case with all Far Cry games, you’re going to be able to buy new weapons, attachments, and other items to help you take on the region’s resident bad buys. In Far Cry 5, you head to Hope County, Montana to take on the doomsday cult known as Eden’s Gate. Along the way, you’ll want to make some upgrades and you can do so using either in-game currency or the game microtransactions, which come in the form of silver bars. You might want to know how much you’ll need to spend before you set your sights on a particular weapon, however.

There are five silver bars packs that can be bought in Far Cry 5. Ranging from $4.99 for 500 to $49.99 for 7250, the more money you spend, the more free credits your get. Once you’ve bought some, you can head over to the weapons tab of the shop to buy Prestige Weapons. For example, the AR-C “Stars ‘N Stripes” assault rifle costs 9,000 in-game dollars or 500 silver bars, which is quite expensive. The full list of silver bar microtransactions is:

  • 500 silver bars – $4.99
  • 1050 silver bars – $9.99
  • 2400 silver bars – $19.99
  • 4550 silver bars – $34.99
  • 7250 silver bars – $49.99

That’s all you need to know about microtransactions in Far Cry 5. For more on the game, check out our wiki guide.
