Ark: Survival Evolved Migrates to Nintendo Switch This Fall

The popular dinosaur survival game, Ark: Survival Evolved, will be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime this Fall developer Studio Wildcard has announced. The news came during Epic Games’ GDC “State of Unreal” press conference held today, where they also gave attendees their first look at the game running on Switch.

Ark: Survival Evolved will be available both physically and digitally on Switch, and the game will include its online features. Wildcard also recently announced that the game is coming to Android and iOS devices.

Crafting, hunting, harvesting, growing crops, and buildings structures will all be integral to your survival on the island. Of course, there’s plenty of dinosaurs to kills, tame, breed, and even ride in many cases, and your technology can greatly advance to the point of equipping your dinosaurs with laser cannons. You can play the game as a solo experience or team up with other players online. Ark originally released on the Steam Early Access Program in June 2015.

Ark: Survival Evolved will arrive on Nintendo Switch sometime this Fall. We’ll make sure to update you once a firm release date has been announced.
