Metal Gear Survive: What the Download and Install Size Is

Download and Install Size for Metal Gear Survive

Series creator and director Hideo Kojima may not be with Konami anymore, but that doesn’t mean the Metal Gear name is done. Konami is bringing the series back to consoles and PC with the release of Metal Gear Survive, a stealth co-op shooter game with zombies and base-building elements. Metal Gear Survive is set to be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this week. If you’re hoping to pre-order and pre-load the game digitally, you’ll probably want to make sure you’ve got enough hard drive space for it. Well, here’s what you need to know about the game’s download and install size on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

If you’re on PS4 and Xbox One, the download and install size is around 15.96 GB, so you’ll need about 16 GB of space available on your console if you’re buying the game digitally. On PC, the minimum space requirement is 20 GB.

Metal Gear Survive’s size isn’t too big by AAA game standards, and you should be able to fit it onto your machine pretty comfortably. If you’re planning on pre-loading the game, the download and installation time shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours either. Unless, of course, Konami plans on pushing out a day one patch for the game.
