Star Wars Battlefront 2: Is There Splitscreen Co-Op?

Is There Splitscreen Co-Op in Star Wars Battlefront 2?

Recommended Videos

If you’re a Star Wars fan, chances are you know that Battlefront 2 has finally arrived (if you’re playing via early access, at least). With a single-player campaign to play through and a variety of multiplayer game modes to sink your teeth into, there’s plenty of content to keep everyone happy. Of course, one such mode that many first-person shooter fans have been desperate for in recent years is a splitscreen co-op mode.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 does have a splitscreen co-op option, but there is a bit of a caveat. Rather than being able to jump into online skirmishes with other players, you’ll instead have to take on the AI in the offline arcade mode instead.

Battlefront 2’s splitscreen co-op option is its Arcade Mode that sees players work together to kill waves of Clone Troopers as Super Battle Droids or Darth Maul himself. This game mode can be found from the main menu, so just make sure you have two controllers hooked up and ready to roll.

It’s worth noting that the PC version won’t have splitscreen co-op. This mode is exclusive to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
