How to Get Tom Nook & What He Does in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Recommended Videos

With the arrival of Pocket Camp on mobile devices, many players are wondering where the money-grabbing raccoon, Tom Nook, fits into this portable camping-based adventure. OK Motors has your motorhome needs covered, so it seems like he’s taking a break this time around. That doesn’t mean that you can’t get Tom Nook in Pocket Camp. On the contrary, you can actually have him hang out at your campsite.

To do this, you’ll first need to buy his chair. This costs 250 Leaf Tickets, and according to the in-game announcement, is only available to purchase for 45 days from when you start a new game. To craft the chair, simply purchase it for the 250 Leaf Tickets from the crafting menu and leave Cyrus to get to work.

Once it’s done, place the chair in your campsite and Tom Nook will suddenly appear in it. Unfortunately, that’s just about all that he does in Pocket Camp. He won’t give you any special items to buy, or quests to complete. He just sits there, snoring, and occasionally spouting off one of a few lines every once in a while. Sure, it’s nice to have Tom Nook in your town, but if you were considering paying real-life money for the Leaf Tickets to buy his chair, we’d suggest you reconsider.
