How to Change Buddy and Allies in South Park: The Fractured But Whole

In South Park: The Fractured But Whole, you’ll have an array of awesome superhero buddies and allies at your beck and call. Whether it’s Coon and Friends or the Freedom Pals, you can count on your team of heroes to get you through tough spots in The Fractured But Whole. You’ll quickly build up your roster and you’re not stuck with using whatever is defaulted to you most of the time. You can mix and match your buddies at will except for a few times when certain party members are locked and required to be used.

You have the option to change your allies at any time right before a battle starts. Simply press Square/X and choose who you want in your starting four. You can also change your default buddies ahead of time by accessing the allies app by hitting the touchpad/back button and selecting allies. From here you can organize who your default four allies will be. You can still change this before battle as well at any time, it’s just mostly there to help you out in case you forget to change before a battle.
