More island to rule.

A brand new trailer for Tropico 6, showing off new features and the paradise setting, has been released during Gamescom 2017.

As well as showing off the beauty of the new engine, the trailer reveals customisable palaces, bridges and archipelagos. This is part of the big new change that Tropico 6 is bringing to the series. You will need to connect archipelagos, with the idea of settlements being on each of them, rather than controlling one larger island.

For anyone that is unfamiliar with the series, Tropico asks you to, “prove yourself once again as a feared dictator or peace-loving statesman on the island state of Tropico and shape the fate of your nation through four distinctive eras. Face new challenges on the international stage and always keep the needs of your people in mind.” You can see the Gamescom 2017 trailer above.

Also, anyone who is attending the convention in Germany will be able to get hands on with the game.

Tropico 6 is due to release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime in 2018.
