A new, bloody adventure.

How to Enable and Start the Darkest Dungeon: Crimson Court DLC

Recommended Videos

First things first, make sure that you’ve actually purchased and installed the Crimson Court DLC on whatever platform you have Darkest Dungeon on. Once you’ve got that done, go ahead and launch the game as you normally would. At the game’s main menu, you can choose to either load a save, or start a fresh campaign. The DLC can be enabled on both existing and new saves, so you don’t have to worry about losing progress on an older run.

If you’ve chosen to create a new save, click on the small button next to the Delete option that’s right beside your campaign name. This should bring up a list of all the DLC options you have installed. You can activate the Crimson Court, the new Flagellant hero, and the Districts system together or separately. This is a great feature for anyone who might just want to experience part of the new content and not all of it in one go.

If you’re loading a previous save, just hit the DLC button next to the Delete option and do the same.

That’s all you need to do to enable and start the Crimson Court DLC. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more tips, tricks, and information on Darkest Dungeon and the Crimson Court DLC.
