Yooka-Laylee: How to Use Mollycools & What They Do

How to Use Mollycools & What They Do in Yooka-Laylee

Recommended Videos

One of the many items scattered through Yooka-Laylee’s Grand Tomes are Mollycools. These funky little characters resembling small atoms are tucked away in each of Yooka-Laylee’s Grand Tomes. Here’s how to get Mollycools and what it is exactly that they do in Yooka-Laylee.

There’s only one Mollycool in each of the Grand Tomes, so once you’ve found one, you can stop searching. Instead, shift your focus to then seeking out the doctor. She’ll likely be stood right by a giant ray gun, so keep an eye out for this and make your way there. Speak with the doctor, hand over the Mollycool, and you’ll then be able to use her D.N.Ray whenever you like to transform into some weird and wonderful object.

Why would you want to be transformed into something like a plant? Because doing so opens up new Pagie-earning possibilities within each of the Grand Tomes, and who doesn’t want that?

If you’re struggling to find Mollycools in Yooka-Laylee’s Grand Tomes, make sure you’re expanding them with Pagies. By doing so, you’ll open up whole new areas to these levels which may just be hiding the collectible.
