Zelda Breath of the Wild: How to Wait & Pass Time

Wait and Pass Time – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

There will be times during The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild where you’ll want to wait and pass time rather than dive into the next challenge. This may be wanting to explore during the morning, or perhaps to avoid weather conditions that make traversing the world more difficult.

There are two ways to wait and pass time: campfires and beds. Campfires are easy to locate as they can be found randomly throughout the world. Or, you can make your own by chopping down a tree, then chopping that tree into smaller logs. Carry the logs to a dry area then use either a Fire Arrow or flint. Now interact with the campfire and you’ll be able to watch time go by.

The other method is to use a bed. These must be either paid for at inns within towns, or found in cabins scattered throughout The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s world. When you rest in a bed, you will have the ability to choose what time you wake up at, which allows you to fine tune when you explore. It’s a great way to wait and pass time, even though beds in the wild are pretty rare.
