How to Get a Gun – Resident Evil 7
In Resident Evil 7, you can acquire several different guns that can be used to either kill or delay one of the Bakers’ advances. You’ll have a few opportunities to nab a firearm, with the first taking place in the Guest House. After you have a confrontation in the hallway that results in a rather gruesome injury, you’ll need to make your way to the attic and get a gun.
Once you acquire the Attic Fuse and make your way up the staircase there will be a door on your right. Go through this and you’ll find a gun on the table with some ammo. This will be your first weapon, however, be prepared to lose it once you move to the Main House. From here, proceed through the campaign until you arrive at the garage and take down your first boss. Once the cop dies at the hands of Jack Baker, and you’ve taken care of Jack, you’ll find the officer’s gun laying on the floor waiting for you to pick up. This will act as your first firearm for the rest of Resident Evil 7.
Finding ammo in Resident Evil 7 should always be your top priority as bullets are an incredibly scarce resource in this game. Always make sure your gun is reloaded before engaging in any type of fight and try to pace your shots out to conserve rounds. It’s easy to get overwhelmed in Resident Evil 7, so always aim for the head and run if you get the opportunity. The last thing you want is for Jack to chop you up and toss you in the bayou.
