PSVR Will Take Us All Back to the ’90s, Comes with a Demo Disc

Sweet, sweet nostalgia
PSVR, PlayStation VR, define, PlayStation, Sony

Today, Sony announced via a post on the European PlayStation blog that PlayStation VR launch units will come with a free demo disc. What a perfect way to get all nostalgic about the ’90s before jumping into the latest in video game technology.

Alongside the PSVR unit itself, the additional processing unit, and all of the other cables and bits and pieces you need to get your VR headset up and running, the demo disc will include eight demos for you to try out before you buy.

Not only is this a good way to work out whether or not you like the game, but also to see if you feel any sort of motion sickness before you go ahead and make the full purchase.

The disc will include demos for the following games.

  • DRIVECLUB VR
  • PlayStation VR Worlds
  • RIGS Mechanized Combat League
  • Tumble VR
  • Battlezone
  • EVE: Valkyrie
  • Wayward Sky
  • Headmaster

Currently, there is not a similar post up on the US PlayStation blog, raising the question as to whether or not this may be exclusive to European PSVR launch units. We’ll be sure to keep you updated if and when a similar post goes up on the US blog.
