Checking Planet Conditions- No Man’s Sky

Recommended Videos

You’re going to be visiting a lot of planets in No Man’s Sky, and sometimes it can be difficult to keep track of all the weather types and conditions of each one. Thankfully, there’s a pretty easy way to check the conditions of all the planets you’ve discovered so far.

If you hit the options button to bring up the menu, you’ll be able to see a full list of planets and star systems that you’ve discovered. If you select one of them, you can see the details. For instance, you’ll see how many planets and moons are in one system, and you can also see all of the discoveries you’ve made within a specific planet as well. You can also hover over a planet and click and hold on the ‘View’ button to see a brief summary of the weather types and conditions on that particular planet.

This is valuable information that will give you enough forewarning of what kinds of environments you’ll be heading into if you’re planning on revisiting some of your discovered planets for mining resources. It’s also a good reminder of Sentinel activity on that planet, meaning you can adjust your Multi-tool accordingly, so make good use of it.
