Agents of Mayhem, a brand new IP being worked on by Volition, the developer of the Saints Row series, has been announced by publisher Deep Silver.
The open-world game will feature the Agents of M.A.Y.H.E.M (the Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds), a motley crew of heroes from around the world who must fight to save the world from the evil L.E.G.I.O.N. (the League of Evil Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations).
Like the Saints Row series, Agents of Mayhem will feature colorful characters and over-the-top action you’d expect from Volition. This new IP is set in the same universe as Saints Row and share certain story elements and symbolism.
When Legion takes over the world, the only force that can stop it is Mayhem. Mayhem is led by the mysterious and straight faced Persephone Brimstone who tasks the agents with going to the city of Seoul, South Korea to take on Legion. Legion Minister Doctor Babylon and his evil lieutenants are planning to build a device that will give an immense amount of power to the evil organization. Do you have what it takes to stop them?
