Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location Gets a Disturbing New Trailer

“You don’t know what we’ve been through”

Earlier today, a trailer was released for Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location, the newest entry in the widely popular horror series Five Nights at Freddy’s. There are 4 animatronics featured in the trailer, the names of which are rumored to be Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, and Ballora, with the final animatronic having the confirmed name of Baby. The trailer seems to suggest that Baby will have a large role in Sister Location. This would make sense as the original teaser image that was released for the game had Baby’s face on it. We only catch minor glimpses of gameplay in the trailer, however it looks as though Sister Location may change things up from the standard Five Nights at Freddy’s formula with the player having the ability to ride what looks like an elevator and crawl through air ducts.

It isn’t clear exactly how this fits into Five Nights at Freddy’s incredibly complicated and mysterious lore, but it looks as if the location will send the player “deep below ground.” Perhaps some horrifying event led to this location being literally buried underground and forgotten. You can be sure the Five Nights at Freddy’s community is already hard at work dissecting the trailer for all the little gems of lore it contains.

The way each animatronic part moves, the eerie music, and even the Freddy animatronic holding a Bonnie puppet on his left hand, are just some of the details that make this trailer uncomfortable and unnerving to sit through. I mean a puppet holding another puppet? How creepy is that?! You can watch the trailer in all of its weirdness below.

According to the trailer, Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location is set to release sometime this fall. And while he’s stated to follow through with the release date on this one, Scott Cawthon, the creator of Five Nights at Freddy’s, has a history of releasing his games early. So keep an eye on this one.
