If you own Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby, X or Y, you can get your hands on a free level 100 Shiny Xerneas! This is a part of The Pokemon Company’s Legendary Trio event celebrating the release of the new Pokemon animated series, Pokemon the Series: XYZ.
Follow the directions below to get your hands on Shiny Xerneas before May 17th:
- Select Mystery Gift on the main menu
- Select Mystery Gift, then Yes
- Select Get Via Internet, then Yes, then Yes again to connect to the Internet
- Watch as you receive the Pokémon
- Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokémon Center to receive the Pokémon
- Be sure to save your game!
If you are looking for a free Pokemon after May 17th, you will have to wait til May 20th-26th to get your hands on a level 100 Shiny Yveltal.
You can also get your hands on a free Darkrai between May 1st-24th at participating GameStop locations! So many free Pokemon and only 6 spots on your active team!
