Daredevil Season 2 Poster and Teaser Show Off Elektra

Deadliest woman in Hell's Kitchen.

The second season of Daredevil isn’t just bringing the Punisher along for the ride. While Jon Bernthal’s murderous vigilante will also be around causing trouble for Hell’s Kitchen and the Man Without Fear, the more personal threat to Matt Murdock’s life will be the return of his old girlfriend, Elektra Natchios. She was hinted at briefly in the first season, but she’s making a full appearance here, played by Elodie Yung, and this poster shows that she won’t stop by just to say “hello”.

Fans mostly know of her most likely through the middling Daredevil film from 2003 or her titular spinoff film from 2005, where she was played by Jennifer Garner. Like Matt, Elektra is a master martial artist, but where he uses a staff to defend himself from the scum of Hell’s Kitchen, she prefers to use her sais to get the job done.

When she’s around, it’s typically not a good thing, and with the Punisher around, Matt’s life is about to get much more complicated. Fortunately, we’ll get to see how deadly Elektra is with a new trailer due out tomorrow. In the meantime, here’s a little teaser to hold you over.

Daredevil season 2 hits Netflix on March 18.
