Darth Vader Has Different Breathing Cycles in Star Wars Battlefront

Darth Vader’s respirator will change pace depending on if Vader is walking or sprinting on the battlefield.

DICE’s Star Wars shooter continues to surprise its fans with hidden features that go completely under the radar. Luckily, YouTube user Gabe Johnson has an “ear” for these things:

It’s hardly surprising Vader would have breathing issues after his climatic battle with Obi-Wan on Mustafar — having your lungs seared on a lava planet will do that to you. Interesting that they didn’t add a critically wounded sound to his respirator, like in Return of the Jedi after he fought the Emperor.

DICE clearly went above and beyond with getting the details right for its Star Wars game, perhaps we’ll notice even more in the future.
