Today, Microsoft revealed a controller for the upcoming Crackdown 3. The controller, which has a circle basically just about everywhere on it, also has a spot for your gamertag on the bottom left corner so everyone knows that it’s your controller. Pretty sweet, right? Dave Johnson, the game’s senior art director, went into the process of developing the controller:
“This collectible controller features a lot of the shapes and design inspiration from the Crackdown 3 Agency logo…The logo doubles as the badge of the Agency, and we worked to retain that iconic design while updating it to match the bold new direction we’re taking the franchise.”
The bad news is that the controller won’t be available to buy, but rather you’ll have to win it through Reagent Games’ giveaways and contests. So if you want it, you’ll have to keep a watchful eye on the Crackdown 3 Twitter page and the game’s website for you to win. Whoever wins a controller will have their gamertag put in by the developers.
