Xur Isn’t Bringing His Exotics to Destiny 2 This Week

More time to save those Legendary Shards.
Destiny 2, Xur

Bungie has revealed Destiny 2’s event schedule for the rest of September and, unfortunately, guardians will have to wait a little bit longer to visit Xur.

According to the roadmap for the rest of September that Bungie has laid out for Destiny 2, the tentacle-faced Agent of Nine, Xur, won’t be hiding away somewhere in Destiny 2’s galaxy during this opening week. Instead, players will have to wait until Sept. 15 to finally hand over their Legendary Shards in exchange for those rare exotics.

For those unfamiliar with Destiny 2’s traveling exotic vendor, each and every Friday from Sept. 15, players will be able to hunt down Xur and purchase highly sought after exotic gear. These tend to have additional perks and a high power level, so it’s definitely worth taking your time to go visit him. Exactly where Xur will be in Destiny 2 when he does finally appear remains to be seen, but we’ll be posting and letting you know as soon as we find him next week.

Destiny 2 is out now for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming next month. If you’re in need of a helping hand or just have a burning question you need answering, be sure to check out our comprehensive wiki on the game.
