Getting the Ceremonial Trident – Zelda Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

Upon arriving at the Zora’s Domain in Breath of the Wild, you’ll notice a Zora blacksmith who refuses to talk to you unless you have either the Lightscale Trident or the Ceremonial Trident. While the Lightscale Trident is relatively easy to obtain, seeing as how you just need to defeat the Divine Beast in that area and claim it from the king, its counterpart is a little trickier to find.

The Ceremonial Trident can actually be found in Zora’s Domain itself. From the Shrine exit, go up the ramp on your right, and then take the bridge on your left that leads you to the western exit. Don’t cross the bridge all the way, though. Once you’re above the circular ring surrounding Zora’s Domain, glide all the way down to the lowest ring where you’ll land right next to the water. From here, use the Magnesis rune to locate the Ceremonial Trident itself. You might have to use the Cryonis ice blocks to get you closer to it. Once you have it, the Zora blacksmith will craft a Trident for you whenever you want, as long as you have the materials.
