Get More Ammo – Resident Evil 7

Recommended Videos

Exploring the Baker estate in Resident Evil 7 is no walk in the park. You need to be prepared for any danger that might jump around the next corner. As such, it’s a good idea to make sure you’ve got plenty of ammo while on your escape mission.

Unfortunately, Resident Evil 7 doesn’t make the stuff easy to find. You’ll likely hear that horrible clicking noise of your weapon failing to fire far too often, but there are a few things you can do to keep your supplies topped up.

First things first, be sure to thoroughly explore environments as you’re making your way around the estate. The Bakers may not use weapons themselves, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of ammo lying around on tables, counters, and other random places waiting for you to pick up.

Be especially sure to double check any barrels or trash cans you see, too. These are often tucked away in the corners of environments, but break them down and they’ll often have a few rounds to help you thin out the horrors that await you.

Finally, you can also craft ammo on the go. As long as you have the right ingredients, that is. To craft, press Triangle or Y on your controller, and then press R1 or RB to switch over to the Crafting tab. Then, simply pick the item you want to craft, and voila, you’ve got some fresh ammo. It’s worth noting, though, that not all weapon ammo can be crafted. This only pertains to handgun, burner, and grenade launcher ammo, though. Every other type will require you to scour the environment.
