Your adventure through Persona 5 is going to be long, tough, but a hell of a lot of fun. Fortunately, you’ll be able to share the whole thing with the other members of your group. While the group is automatically called The Phantoms for the online services, you can actually change your group name.

Changing your group name will alter the name that appears for you in Persona 5’s online services. Therefore, before changing your name, we suggest not revealing any personal information.

To change the name of your group in Persona 5, you’ll actually have to wait until 5/5 in the game. At a certain occasion, you’ll decide with the other members that you’re gonna continue your work and save the world from evil adults. Shortly after, you’ll be asked what you want to call the group. Simply enter whatever you like into this to change the group name. It’s worth noting that once you’ve chosen a name, you can’t go back and change it again, so make sure you’re happy with it before confirming.
