How to Respect Character and Reset Level – Nioh

Recommended Videos

If you’ve invested a significant amount of Amrita into William, pouring your points into stats that you initially thought were beneficial to you but later realized that you’d actually like to try another build, worry not. Nioh features an item that you can purchase to reset your level and reallocate all of your stat points, essentially allowing you to rebuild your character entirely.

First off, you need to unlock the blacksmith function in the game. This is unlocked once you beat the first main mission and gain access to the world map. When visiting the blacksmith, check the Buy menu and go to the Special Finds tab. Occasionally, you’ll find an item called the Book of Reincarnation for sale. Do note that this item isn’t always available at the blacksmith, so you might have to do a few missions before getting it to appear. Purchase the Book and use it, and you’ll be able to reallocate your stat points. All of the samurai skill points you spent on weapon skills will also be reset. Another important thing to note is that the Book of Reincarnation will get more expensive the more you buy it, so make sure you allocate your stat points correctly before confirming.

That’s all you need to know to respec your character in Nioh. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite and our ever-expanding wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on Nioh.
