Metal Gear Solid V Guide – How to Get Snake’s Raiden Outfit

Cyborg Ver. 2.0
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain offers players tons of options as they play through the game and grow their military. Weapon load-outs, vehicles, buddies – you name it and you can probably tweak it in some way. One of the biggest things in the game that really allows that extra bit of self expression is the uniform selection. Every character that can be used has got a selection of outfits, it all comes down to unlocking the ones you want so you can show off your team in a brand new way.

One of the unlockable costumes in Metal Gear Solid V: TPP is Raiden’s ninja suit. This is another Cyborg uniform for Snake to wear, only Raiden’s outfit takes the benefits of the base Cyborg suit and increases them. That means you will now be able to run even faster, as well as jump even further (not too shabby huh?).

To unlock the Raiden outfit in Metal Gear Solid V: TPP you’re going to need the Grand Master Certificate item (which you should already have if you unlocked the Cyborg outfit), and you will want your R&D crew to be at least level 53, this will unlock the Raiden outfit in your development menu.

We must warn you though, this outfit isn’t cheap, after all it is pretty slick, and it does significantly improve your base abilities. You’re going to have to save up 1.2 million GMP, but it’s worth it, trust us.

Once purchased, you’ll be able to equip this badass armor in the mission prep screen.
