How to Craft in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

Along with more RPG mechanics and a much better combat system, Assassin’s Creed Origins also introduces a new crafting mechanic that lets you power up Bayek as you progress through the game. You can craft a variety of items including a better quiver for his bow and arrows, as well as a bracer and breastplate when you’re first starting out in Siva.

To craft an item, open up the main menu and head over to the Gear tab. Near the bottom of your screen, you’ll see a small selection of items and gear that are available for crafting. Use your cursor to hover over the items to see their functions, along with the materials required to actually craft them. If you have the required materials, you can press and hold the X button (or the A button if you’re on Xbox One) to complete the crafting the process. If not, you can opt to pin the item by pressing square (or X) to put an on-screen tracker that lets you keep track of how many more materials you need to collect before you can craft the target item.
