HOW TO USE THE ASCEND COMMAND IN ARK: SURVIVAL EVOLVED
Ascension is the process of beating the last boss in ARK: Survival Evolved and ascending to the next level. After you ascend, all the bosses become harder and drop better loot. Ascension involves beating all the bosses, completing the Tek Cave (The Island), and discovering the true nature of the ARK. The process will sacrifice your character, but you will then respawn and be able to respec.
There are three ascension levels: GAMMA, BETA, ALPHA. Rather than completing all of these normally, there is a console command that skips the process.
Load into ARK: Survival Evolved’s single-player and open the admin command window. This is achieved by pausing and pressing LB, RB, X, Y (Xbox One) / L1, R1, Square, Triangle (PS4) / Pressing Tab (PC). Enter the following codes:
- playercommand Ascend1 (GAMMA)
- playercommand Ascend2 (BETA)
- playercommand Ascend3 (ALPHA)
The command is case sensitive so be sure to capitalize the “A”.
You will be required to use this command to unlock maps such as The Center (GAMMA) and Ragnarok Ark (BETA).
That is everything you need to use the command. ARK: Survival Evolved is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One now.
