Commands – Space Hulk: Deathwing

Recommended Videos

Your fellow Space Marines can be useful assets in battle. They’re able to heal you, open locked doors, and provide defensive fire, among a handful of other options. Space Hulk: Deathwing allows you to issue commands to your comrades, allowing you to manipulate or steer their general behavior.

To do so, simply press and hold the space bar to open a radial menu filled with potential commands. You can also press the corresponding hotkey to issue a specific command, which you can bind to your liking in the options menu. Opening the radial menu also allows you to see the corresponding button for each command in case you briefly forgot.

Browsing the radial menu is done by moving your mouse into that general direction, highlighting commands. To issue the selected command, simply release the space bar and your brothers in arms will do the rest. If it’s a target-specific task you’d like your companions to take care off, look towards the general direction of the item in question (such as a door) to unlock the corresponding commands in the radial menu. You can toggle between Space Marines who must perform the commanded action by pressing F1 or F2.

Be mindful that some commands, such as healing, have sub-selections as well. These are navigated in the same way as regular commands, but moving your mouse a bit too far will break the sub-selection and continue general command selection. It’s important to keep note of this so that you do not accidentally issue the wrong command.
