Watch Pikachu Suplex a Charizard in the New Pokken Tournament Trailer

Masked Pikachu is coming to Pokken Tournament, but will you give it a hell yeah?

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Pokken Tournament which revealed that Masked Pikachu is the next Pokemon to join the game’s roster. Don’t worry about Masked Pikachu being a clone character, either, because she has her own unique moveset centered around wrestling.

Judging from the trailer, Masked Pikachu will be a completely close range fighter capable of closing the distance with a spinning air attack and double team to avoid projectiles. Along with her physical moves, Masked Pikachu will also be able to use her electricity to keep enemies in place long enough to suplex them. Size really isn’t everything in the world of Pokemon.

This announcement now brings Pokken Tournament’s roster up to 10 Pokemon with the last one revealed being the gen three favorite Blakizen. According to Gematsu, Masked Pikachu (or Pikachu Libre as they’re calling her) will be added to the arcade game later today.

Pokken Tournament is due to come out for the Wii U worldwide in Spring 2016, but you do have to wonder if Hawlucha would have been a better choice. Still, giving Charizard the Stone Cold Stunner was pretty epic.

So what do you think of the news that Masked Pikachu is coming to Pokken Tournament and what other Pokemon would you like to see in the game? Let us know in the comments below.
