Like the original Destiny before it, Bungie will have a partnership with Sony to provide exclusive content to the PlayStation 4 (PS4) version of Destiny 2. Based on what we know so far, it appears to be very similar to how it was previously.
The PS4 version of Destiny 2 will feature an exclusive Strike (Lake of Shadows), exclusive gear including the exotic weapon Borealis, and an exclusive PvP map.
Depending if you’re a PS4 owner or not, this could either fantastic or frustrating news. If you’re planning on getting the Xbox One or PC version of the game, don’t lose hope just yet. The first round of exclusive content (which also featured a Strike and PvP map) did eventually make its way over to the Xbox platforms in Year 2 of the game. It’s not ideal of course, but it’s better than nothing.
