Zelda Breath of the Wild: How to Get the Blue Clothing Armor (Champion’s Tunic)

Blue Clothing / Champion’s Tunic – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Link doesn’t wear his iconic green tunic in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, he does, however, have a brand new look. The hero wears a new bright blue tunic that you’ve probably seen in every trailer and piece of marketing for the game. However, you might be a bit surprised when you start the game and don’t have the piece of  blue clothing.

Unfortunately, you’re going to have to progress a fair amount in the game before you get your hands on the blue clothing or Champion’s Tunic. First off you’ll need to complete the first four Trial Shrines and get the paraglider from the Old Man. After that, travel to Kakariko Village and talk to Impa who will tell you about the four divine beasts and a way to help you get your memory back. You’ll get a quest called “Locked Mementos,” which will set you on a path to find the Hateno Research Facility and restore a piece of your Sheikah Slate. Hateno is on the very Easternmost point of your map, follow the waypoint setup and head there. Once you find the lab, complete the quest objectives until you receive the 12 photos restored onto your Sheikah Slate. These are places and Link and Zelda traveled together, and you can find them to restore a piece of Link’s memory.

You need to find at least one of these areas and restore a piece of memory, then go back and talk to Impa in Kakariko Village. Once you’ve done this, she’ll reward you with the Champion’s Tunic, the iconic blue clothing Link is featured in. It has a 5 rating for defense, and even the nifty ability to show your enemies’ exact HP.
