Who Is the Character at the End of Spider-Man 2?
Based on the Spider-Man comic book universe, the character shown during the post-credits scene is Cindy Moon, also known as the hero Silk.
While on a trip to a science demonstration, she is bitten by the same irradiated spider that affected Peter Parker, giving her similar spider-like powers. It isn’t quite clear if this has already happened to Cindy in Spider-Man 2’s version, but it could play out a different way considering how heavily the games altered the original storyline for Venom’s arc.
Cindy Moon had a brief cameo in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 until she eventually made her official debut in the fourth entry of the series. Unlike Peter and Miles, she makes the difficult decision to train away from her family in a secret bunker and does so for roughly 10 years. Parker then finds her to set her free, leading to her hero persona of “Silk.” Of course, this will likely change in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, as it is Miles who meets her first this time around.
Albert Moon is also a part of the comic book series, and he will presumably play a much more significant role in the next installment. It isn’t entirely known if Cindy and Albert will be featured in a DLC or the third title, but the snippet at least gives us some perspective about where the series is heading. It could be possible for her to be one of the playable characters given her Spidey powers, which does seem likely with the way the ending played out.
